The Disabled Sports USA Insurance program is not all-inclusive of every activity chapters may want to present to their participants. Below is a list of some of the sports and recreational activities that are excluded from coverage under the Disabled Sports USA Insurance Program. Please be aware that this list does not reflect everything that is not a covered sport or activity. Any chapter covered through Disabled Sports USA should contact Cheryl Collins at ccollins@dsusa.org or 301-217-9841 to confirm coverage before adding new activities to their programming.

  • Air Travel (airplanes, helicopters, gliders, ultra-lights)
  • Drag Racing
  • Gliding
  • Hang Gliding
  • Helicopter Rides
  • Heli-Skiing
  • Hot Air Ballooning
  • Jet Skiing
  • Mobile Equipment (i.e. tractors, earth movers, diggers, forklifts)
  • Motocross
  • Motorcycling
  • Parachuting
  • Paragliding
  • Races with manmade obstacles or mud pits
  • Sky Diving
  • Snowmobiling
  • Stock Car Racing
