Come to learn, share, and get inspired at the annual Adapt2Achieve Leadership Conference! This conference is a unique educational opportunity that aims to develop and strengthen the adaptive sport industry. The 2019 conference will bring together 200+ individuals representing chapters of Disabled Sports USA, VA Medical Centers, and other community-based sport and recreation organizations.

The conference will feature two tracks, each with a goal of Advancing Adaptive Sports. One track will focus on the relationship between Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, engineering and adaptive sports to highlight some of the latest technology and techniques being developed to support adaptive athletes in sport, and look at how the adaptive sports industry intersects with medical interventions. The other track is dedicated to best practices for risk management and features opportunities for hands-on, practical training exercises. Learning objectives are tailored to practical operational and leadership tools for attendees to support safe and effective adaptive sports programming in their communities.

You won’t want to miss this wonderful opportunity to enjoy camaraderie and learning in a casual environment, with numerous opportunities for professional development and networking. You’ll go home with fresh ideas and new strategies to take your program to the next level!

Once confirmed, more details about the conference will be announced via email and on this webpage.  If you have questions about the conference, please email Julianne Mills or call 301-217-9839.
